The Carolinah Regional Gathering

Let's try this one more time! Since we weren’t able to do it in 2020, or in 2021, or in 2022, Piedmont Area Mensa's 2023 Carolinah RG theme will be ... wait for it ... Pirates! We hope ye'll set sail with us for a rousing weekend filled with merriment, socializing, and provocative pirate-themed programs.

Full-weekend registrations are $65 through January 31, 2023; $75 from February 1, 2023, through March 1, 2023; and $85 from March 1, 2023, and beyond.

To encourage families to join in the fun, PAM is offering a $30 registration rate for ages 7 - 12 and a $50 registration rate for ages 13 - 20. First-time attendees also receive a $5 discount off the applicable weekend registration rate. RG registration includes all programs and activities, light refreshments in our hospitality suite, and lunch on Saturday. (Hotel registration includes free hot morning breakfast and free dinnertime snacks and drinks.)

The 2023 RG will once again be at the Drury® Inn & Suites Greenville, which is offering room rates of $120 for regular rooms, either king or double queen, or $150 for suites, either king or double queen, up to the cutoff date of February 13, 2023, or until sold out. bullet Complimentary Hot Breakfast - Start every day with make-your-own Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, KELSO + BROS® coffee and more. Complimentary hot breakfast is served daily from 6:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. on weekdays and 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. on weekends.
bullet Complimentary Evening Drinks and Snacks - From 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. every evening, overnight guests enjoy complimentary dinnertime snacks and beverages at the Drury's 5:30 Kickback®. The Drury features a rotating menu of hot food, beer, wine, mixed drinks, and soft drinks.
bullet Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel - Get the score, check social networks or email family members in the hotel!
bullet Complimentary Soft Drinks and Popcorn - Freshly popped popcorn and a refreshing beverage are available each evening for a great nighttime snack!
